Construction of Stage/Podium of Tool Manufacture, Székesfehérvár

Our Contractor decided to expand its tool manufacturing hangar in order to increase its production capacity in the 15 meters ceiling height. To perform this, a high bearing capacity staging structure is to be implemented. We planned the supporting structure with two-storey fixed connected steel frames. In the interim staging level we used reinforced concrete slab prepared on high ribbed trapezoidal sheet, and using armoured steel sandwich panel cover sleeves on the higher level. The complex steel and reinforced iron supporting structure was designed to hold not only the payload, but to accept more travelling cranes in both the lower and the higher levels.
Under the supporting structure no foundation was constructed, despite the general princilples, as the basement is full of the network of electric tubes and the implementation of pillar foundation was almost impossible. Because of the conditions, we designed a flexible bearing monolith reinforced concrete floor system based on the existing base plate, which can provide the proper bearing support of the superstructure besides meeting the requirements of the new working conditions. To the supporting structure a new steel structured staircase and connecting floor was constructed in order to connect it with the existing buildings and provide a proper transportation route.
Because of the individual requirements, we performed not only the final construction plans of the supporting structure, but the building construction engineering- and the building electrical planning, too.
